Who We Are
Our Mission
Dexqorent exists to bridge the gap between the complexity of the French tax system and the taxpayers who must navigate it each year.
The Foundation
Education, not advice.
There is a meaningful distinction between understanding how a tax system works and receiving guidance on what to do within it. Dexqorent occupies the first space entirely. We explain mechanisms, define vocabulary, and describe documents. We do not make declarations on behalf of third parties, and we do not provide personalised fiscal advice.
This boundary is not a limitation. It is a deliberate choice. The French tax system is rich in public documentation, but that documentation assumes a level of prior knowledge that most taxpayers do not have. Our role is to provide that foundation.
The platform covers the personal income tax system as it applies to individuals in France: the annual declaration process, the prélèvement à la source mechanism, the principal documents issued by the DGFiP, and the core vocabulary that appears across all of them.
Clarity
Complex fiscal concepts explained in accessible, jargon-free language.
Accuracy
Content grounded in official French tax law and DGFiP documentation.
Neutrality
Informational content without pressure, recommendations, or urgency.
Scope
Focused exclusively on personal income tax for individuals in France.
Our Approach
How the platform is structured.
Each area of Dexqorent addresses a specific layer of understanding. The content is organised so that a reader with no prior knowledge of the French tax system can progress logically.
Foundational concepts
What a foyer fiscal is, how income categories are defined, and what the fiscal year covers in France.
Document anatomy
Section-by-section explanations of the avis d'imposition, the déclaration 2042, and supplementary forms.
Calculation logic
How the progressive tax scale, the quotient familial, and applicable reductions interact to produce the final figure.
Reference glossary
Definitions of every significant term used in French tax documents and official DGFiP correspondence.
What We Do Not Do
Clear limits, clearly stated.
Dexqorent is not a tax filing service. We do not submit declarations, calculate individual tax liabilities, advise on optimisation strategies, or represent taxpayers before the French tax authority.
These activities require specific professional qualifications and fall outside the scope of an educational platform. For personalised assistance, taxpayers should consult a qualified tax professional or contact the DGFiP directly through its official channels.
- No personal tax calculations or projections
- No declaration filing or submission services
- No representation before tax authorities
- No personalised tax planning or optimisation advice
